Clamming on the Cape

While on vacation I had the chance to go clamming with my uncle, two cousins, and little Isabella. The day felt so mysterious because of the fog, but we were able to find a good amount of clams which we enjoyed at dinner that evening. Here's a few photos from the day.

These little hermit crabs were all about the water when we were putting the boat in.

After all our hard work we took the boat over to Nauset Beach. Lots of large waves and I think I even spoted a whale! Here's the crew minus me.

Bella smiling for the camera.

Taking a break after our hard work...

It might be a girl!

My husband and I had our 20 week ultrasound today. She's as active as a monkey! Jumping all around, mostly landing on my bladder, which would explain the frequent bathroom breaks when I have the littlest sip of water! They couldn't tell 100 percent, but if they had to guess, they'd guess a girl. Mike is still holding out for man parts - ha! I guess we'll wait and see. Here's her first debut on the blog...

Signe & Claude

Signe & Claude were married at St. Paul's Church in Brookline and had their reception at XV Beacon. Originally from Germany, Signe met Claude while in Boston attending Emerson College. They now live in London and planned the entire event from afar. To see a slideshow of images click here-otherwise here's a few photos from their day.

Waiting to walk down the aisle....
The ceremony was held in the Chapel of St. Paul's.
This little man was the cutest ring bearer!

The rain held off all day - which made photos in the Boston Common and the cocktail hour on the rooftop all the more enjoyable!

After the rooftop, guests were moved down to the wine cellar for dinner.

Congratulations Signe & Claude. Thanks to you and your family for making me feel so welcome and for ensuring I didn't fall off any chairs! Have a great week in Boston and safe travels back to London!

"Wedded Bliss"

All brides search for creative ideas for their wedding day. If you have the opportunity to check out the "Wedded Bliss" exhibition going on now at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA, I highly recommend it! You'll see beautiful gowns, jewelry and learn about the wedding rituals of various cultures. You may just want to incorporate one of the many ideas into your own day. At the end of the exhibition you'll view an incredible slide show of images (my favorite part)!

Room to Dream Foundation

I had the privilege of photographing Room to Dream Foundation's 1st Annual Golf Tournament at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee, MA. RTD is dedicated to creating healing environments for children and teens with chronic illnesses. The foundation is made up of architects, builders, interior designers, artists and volunteers all dedicated to transforming a child's space into a room specifically designed to fit their needs. If you'd like more information or to see specific projects they've accomplished, please visit their website by clicking here.

To get a sense of the entire day click here to view a slideshow. Here are a few images as well:

Maria Stephanos, Anchor from Fox25 News, was the Honorary Chairperson.

This lucky duck got a hole in one at "Whack the Quack" and won himself tickets to a Red Sox game!

Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of this great event!
