Lisa & Andy :: Plymouth, MA

Thanks for waiting patiently as I wrapped up the wedding season! I'm happy to be able to finally share Lisa and Andy's wedding photos. They had a beautiful fall wedding on Cape Cod. She got ready at her family's house by the water in Manomet. When we arrived, Lisa's good friend Shannon was finishing up Lisa's makeup.
Lisa wore her mother's wedding dress. It was so different from many of the dresses worn today and I loved it! It had a natural, easy flow to it and Lisa looked fabulous. After all the girls were ready, we headed across the street to the beach for some photos.
Lisa kicked off her shoes right before she walked down the aisle. She was such an easy going bride-the shoes never made it back on her feet the entire evening!Trolleys by Tes provided the transportation from the church to the reception. It's always great to see her at an event! The trolley is classic AND stylish and you can always count on her to know exactly where you're going! She quickly brought us to the beach so we could take a few photos of Lisa and Andy before we moved onto the Plimoth Plantation, where the reception was being held.
The cake, which matched the color theme perfectly, was provided by Konditor Meister. Lisa's sister Jessica, whose wedding I photographed last year, gave such a touching speech. I think she had everyone in the room laughing and crying at the same time.
A Sound Investment kept the party going all night. Actually, Lisa's sister in law was able to grab the mic for a few tunes. Her she is singing. This hat made it around the room all night long-I think it was worn by every groomsman. It looked great with their suits and made for a good laugh.Congratulations Lisa and Andy! I know by now you are far away in Germany, but I hope you are enjoying your new life together!

Pretty in Pink :: Terra & Mike

Terra found me by way of her cousin, Adrienne, a friend who is a performer/director living in Los Angelos and originally from Boston. To check out some of her work click HERE. Needless to say, Terra and Mike were a great couple with huge hearts. Both work at Children's Hospital
and you can tell how dedicated they are to life and their family and friends. Their day started at the Boston Park Plaza. Her favorite color is pink, which was reflected in just about everything-from the programs to her rehearsal bouquet, right down to her engagement ring. To see a slideshow of some images click HERE.
Both the bride and groom got ready at the hotel with all their attendents and close family members surrounding them.
Terra's aunt, Sara Campbell, designed all the bridesmaids dresses, which were totally fun. Each dress had a little different flair and was designed around the individual wearing it.
From the Park Plaza we headed over to Emmanuel Church for the ceremony. It was within walking distance, which was great for Kelly and I because we didn't have to bother with transportation! Kelly shot this as the bride was about to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony we headed over to the Public Gardens for the formal photos. The pink looked fabulous with the greenery!
Congratulations and best wishes to a great couple!!!
